Heathrow airport is clear for the construction of third runway

The London High Court has ruled the case of the third runway at Heathrow and gives it a green
signal to go ahead. Development of the third runway at Heathrow airport will begin within the
next 2 years as it is the world’s busiest airports. The airport construction is set for completion in
2026. 5 Judges led the case to the proposed expansion from a group of local councils,
environmental charities and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan which resulted in the favor of the
plane.

The U.K. government said that added capacity at Heathrow airport will be in the national
interest. They also said that a majority of lawmakers in the Parliament has backed this plan last
year.

But protestors at UK airports have reported that the U.K. government’s decision to develop the
the additional runway would bring a negative impact on air quality, increase noise pollution and local
traffic congestion.

One of the applicants, an environmental action group had also reported in its documentation
that by the construction of an extra runway the U.K. government was denying its commitment to
the Paris Agreement on environment change
.
This contract, signed by a number of countries in 2016, offers a responsibility to mitigate
greenhouse-gas emissions. In 2017, President Donald Trump said he will withdraw the U.S.
from this treaty.

Tim Crosland, who is the Director of Plan B(an environmental action group) and a legal adviser
to another environmental action, a group called the High court judgment “disappointing” and said
it was really hard to understand how lawmakers could proceed.

They also said that by the construction of the new runway is widespread recognition that we are
in a state of climate and ecological emergency.

  2. The difference between Terminal-Parking and Outside-Parking at the airport of Frankfurt is price. Terminal parking is very expensive. Price starts from 10 to 15 Euros per day. My advise is: Parkgebühren Flughafen Frankfurt sparen. Park your car outside.
