Airport Parking boss jailed for fake claims on the website

An airport parking scammer named Asad Malik has been sentenced to jail after
he received hundreds of people at the online platform. He used fake reviews of
the customers at his website and fake photos of parking lots. He used
photographs of a hospital car parking located 400 miles away from his
place. He was running London Gatwick airport parking and Easy
Meet and Greet airport parking to trick his customers about safe car parking lots
. His website claimed that they have secure airport car parking lots for their
customers which are monitored 24/7. Police found out that a number of cars
been dumped in the muddy fields when one the customer filed a complaint.
The owner found out that his car was driven around 190 miles while he was on
holiday. Similarly, some other people found their car partially damage.
Police took action immediately and file an FIR against him.

His website claimed that it had secure parking lots with professional chauffeurs
but they clearly compromised the security of the consumer's vehicles. Police
found out most of the cars unlocked with windows open and their keys were left
in a wallet hanging with the window of the car. Brighton Crown Court found him
guilty of defrauding the customers and breaching the customer protection laws.
One of the customer complaint about the cigarette ash in his car and he get the
explanation that it might have blown in through the window of another car. He
started his business in 2014 and in 20 months he made more than £1.4Million.
This is the first time when the boss of an airport parking company has been
jailed for scamming customers. Malik was disqualified from acting as a company
director of any business for the next 4 years.
